ISO: Swiss Chalet Sauce/gravy (Canadian)

Misc.

In Canada we have a chain of Swiss Chalet Chicken & Ribs Restaurants which
also does take-out. The Chicken Gravy is so phenomenal that they began
selling a powdered version in the supermarkets, that you cook with water.
It's good but not quite the same.

Does anyone have a home-made version? I accidentally made a similar one
years ago when throwing in 'this, that and the other thing', but since I
wasn't specifically trying, I didn't measure anything and didn't remeber
everything I put in. I do remember that I used "Gravy", a powdered gravy
thickener, and that I added cayenne pepper.
