ISO: Tomato Soup Cupcakes

I remember as a child making cupcakes with my Grandma and she would use Tomato Soup or preserves as an ingredient.The cupcakes themselves tasted like a spice cake. Unfortuately, my grandma passed away and no one knows where her cookbook went to.
If anyone knows of such a recipe I would greatly appreciate it. I would like to be able to make this recipe, or one similar to it, with my children.
