ISO: What cultivar are the peppers that are most used for General Tso's Chicken?

Misc.
I have what may be an unusual question but this board probably gets plenty of these. I would like to know what cultivars the small-thin red peppers (obviously a type of chili)used in General Tso's Chicken are if anyone happens to know. If not, I will just grow one and will try to identify it by picture. I asked for a few of the long-ish and thin peppers before they cooked them and collected the seeds. I will be interested to see how many and what they look like from the actual plant. If anyone knows the exact cultivar, please let me know, please!!
Thanks!
