ISO: What is granulated cane juice

I posted this on the healthy , low fat boards but didn't get a response. I have
a recipe for Rice Noodles with Coconut Curry Sauce that calls for 1/2 tsp. of
granulated cane juice. Does anyone out there have any idea what this is? I
would like to know if I can substitute anything else maybe. Hope someone knows.
