ISO: winter cabbage salad (canning recipe)

I am looking for a recipe which is called winter cabbage salad. I know for the most part that it is made of 2 heads of cabbage, 5 green bell peppers, 5 red bell peppers, 5 orange bell peppers, 10 hot peppers, 10 onions and 5 carrots, all of which are shredded and added to pickling salt to ferment overnight. My problem is that I don't know the amounts of water,sugar,tumeric, vinegar and oil to use to cook the mixture in before canning on the next day. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
