ISO: Zankou's Garlic Sauce

The is a 3 restaurant roasted chicken chain in S. Cal., Zankou's, that serves a garlic sauce with their chicken. The LA Times even requested their recipe and they sent a false recipe to the LA Times. A gentlemen offered a free dinner if I can get the recipe for this garlic sauce. It is apparently an ajioli type sauce but that does not seem to be the exact recipe. Thanks in advance.
