A GREAT BIG HUG TO ALL OF YOU FOR ALL YOUR HELP. MY THANSGIVING MASHED POTATOES TURN OUT WONDERFUL. I USED JACKIE'S RECIPE AND USED GLADY'S BUTTERMILK INSTEAD OF MILK. I ALSO ADDED A TSP OF BAKING POWDER (TIP FROM POTATOE BAG) FOR FLUFFY POTATOES WHEN MIXING.
MY NEPHEW DEEP FRIED THE TURKEY SO I HAD TO DO A 1/2 GIBLET DRIPPINGS HALF CHEAT WITH CANNED GRAVY FOR MY "HOMEMADE" GRAVY. BUT KELLY'S TIPS ABOUT THICKENING WITH INSTANT POTATOES AND INSTANT COFFEE TO MAKE GRAVY DARKER WAS A GREAT HELP TO MAKE IT MORE AS IF I MADE IT FROM SCRATCH. THANKS AGAIN LADIES!
