thanks betsy, the cherry cookies were made the same as you stated, so i hope it's the same recipe. unfortunately i'm a little too busy to bake them before christmas, but i'll make them for our new year's eve party. i'll let you know if they were the same ones. thanks again and happy holiday. jean
