Thank You: Gladys for your message and congratulations:-)!

Misc.
My daughter's graduation was very nice and so much fun:-)! The time we had together as a family was wonderful. When your children get older, you just don't have the opportunity to be together as often so DH and I really treasure the times when we can all be together! I must say that I was feeling pretty worn out but am really feeling much better now - well enough to cook a couple of new(to me) recipes, and post them later, below. Of course, while my daughter was home, we cooked and ate vegetarian so last night, we were ready for some meat.
Actually my daughter applied to do graduate work at The London School of Economics where she spent her junior year(the only school that she applied to since it was really the only place she wanted to go and to be), and where (London) I had the chance to meet and get together with Karen-England when we went to visit. My daughter found out the day before her graduation that she had been accepted. She said that she was shaking when she read the email message. She was so incredibly excited!!! She loved the school and her professors when she was there, nevermind, loving London. She is so honored to be able to return. It truly was a fabulous experience for her. I hope that she will find it to be as wonderful the second time around. I know that she is really looking forward to her return. I am looking forward to going back to London and hoping to see Karen-England again if we are able to visit.
As for her car, it is quite the classic these days. We bought it, used, when she was a senior in high school and she just loves that old car:-) We were just trying to find something reasonably safe for her to drive that we could afford! We definitely never dreamed that she would be driving it back and forth to Colorado - twice! We are fortunate to have really good Volvo mechanics here and to have found a really good Volvo mechanic in Colorado Springs.
Thank you again for your kind thoughts, Gladys. They mean a lot:-)
