Hi Judy - I love the combination of strawberries and rhubarb. Down here in FL, it's surprising that many folks have never had rhubarb and don't know how it's used. And it doesn't show up in stores very much, just for a very short period in the spring and then mostly it's pretty limp and pathetic looking. I miss my northern rhubarb patch.

You mentioned the warm custard sauce - do you have a recipe for that? When I was in England, so many restaurants and school cafeterias where we ate served a rhubarb crisp with that warm custard sauce. Seemed to be a very common English dessert.

If you would share the custard sauce recipe, I'd be very happy!
