Thanks Gina for all your helpful hints regarding cookbooks and your kind reply. I knew from reading your menu's and post's that you were my kind of gal, ha. We both love having our family and friends over to dinner and enjoy cooking for them....plus you have some great recipes!!
Please, put my beef tenderloin in your recipe file...I know it is expensive, but ohhhh so wonderful....I do not use a meat thermometer, just bake for 25-30 minutes for a 5 lb loin, and I cook two of them...for my grandchildren are now teenagers and eat more!!!!! As I said, we like our meat meduim rare, so it is always perfect....the ends are more well done for those that do not like their meat on the rare side. I will try your strawberry and spinach salad with hearts of palm for I absolutely love hearts of palm. I have a great salad with fresh aspargus and hearts of palm that I will post later. Much thanks and happy holidays to you and your family. I look forward to your Christmas Recipes.
