Thank you for your reply Lesley. I decided to go for the cheapo kettle in
Target as I don't have a True-Value store locally. It works just great, quick,
quiet - doesn't wake napping toddlers!- and that nice upright jug style with a
water indicator. I only wonder why I waited so long to buy one!
