Thank You: Thanksgiving Magic -- thanks Gladys!

Misc.
Hi Gladys! It's TC here, and I'm just posting an update about my Medieval/Thanksgiving dinner. What a wonderful success! I made the Onion and Almond soup and the Marinated Trout for the first 2 courses. I couldn't find an acceptable piece of Lamb, so I skipped the Castilian Style Roast Lamb and made a beef tenderloin dish instead.

For dessert, I served fruits and cheeses and some spicy ginger cookies (a recipe from my grandmother in South Carolina!)

We had plenty of Spanish Wine, beautiful music and candles, and lots of conversation about cooking and eating in our different cultures. I must admit that I was severely exhausted after it all, but what a special day it was. Thank you so much for your help.

TC

PS I read your post that said you were cooking thanksgiving dinner for your family and friends. I hope everything turned out beautifully! Thanks again.
