40,000 + BTU grill

We also have a Char-Broil. We just purchased this grill in May after retiring our old Char-Broil which was approx. 10 years old. We too had to replace a burner about 3 years ago, but it was an easy job and cost around $25. In the Spring/Summer/Fall months, we grill out at least 5 times a week. Not bad for a 10 yr old grill.

When we purchased our new one, we looked at several different ones (including some which were very expensive). After searching and talking with several of our friends who have purchased new grills recently, we decided on our Char-Broil again.

Several people told me NOT to get a grill with the outside "extra" burner on it. Don't really use it and it just takes up space. We opted not to get it and saved about $40. We were also told to get the most BTUs and SQ Inches of cooking space we could.
