Ant Update

Misc.

Hi, if you are interested, the big ant hills I treated are gone and look deserted. This is what I mixed up - one quart of tobacco tea, 1 pint of listerene mouth wash, and 1/4 cup tabasco sauce. When I added the tabasco sauce to the mixture, it started to smoke. Must have been a chemical reaction of some kind. Then I poured the mixture into and around each large ant hill. As soon as the wind stops blowing I will try sprinkling cinnamon around the plants that have ants scurring around them. I also want to try the grit suggestion in another part of the garden. I am really feeling "armed for battle". Thanks to all of you for your suggestions.
