Are You Kidding Me???????

Misc.
Dear Randy,

"Say it ain't so, Joe"...I have lived in both Miami and Tampa and to me, there is no comparison, by a mile, between Tampa bread and Miami bread. I say Cuban bread made by an authentic Panaderia Cubana is the BEST, no comparison to Tampa. There are plenty of Cuban bakeries in Miami, many more than in Tampa...and all of them are far much better than the ones in Tampa.

Same goes for the Cuban Sandwich, Miami's are better, far better. As long as we are on the subject, everything Cuban is better in Miami than in Tampa. And by the way, I am Cuban born, grew up in a Cuban home and was raised on Cuban food.

As for Cuban bread baked at home, there's a reason all Cubans go to the local bakery to get their bread; the ovens do the job just right and the bread is much cheaper to buy than making it at home. Some things, Randy, you just can't duplicate.

Have your family in Miami UPS or FED-EX loaves, and then freeze them.

Good Luck and Good Eating!
