Barry re: your Garlic Dill Pickle recipe - vinegar in pickles

I am sorry, but in order to make a pickle recipe safe for canning, the vinegar/water ratio must be at least half vinegar that is 5 % acidity. Cucumbers are a low acid food and need the proper vinegar added to raise the acid level high enough to preserve them . Botulism, even if rare, is possible if the acid level is not high enough.
