Cali, that's a good idea ...

I have never had THAT MUCH stale anything. However, I often have bits and pieces .... (bread, cake, cookies, cracker crumbs, bottom crumbs in cereal boxes, etc.) and I will save these in a carton in the freezer (or use immediately if I'm baking). I'll put a handful in a loaf of bread I'm popping in the bread machine or a bit in some cookies I'm making. I do the same with stuff like ice cream (tho we try not to buy that!) and other small bits. I would say 98% of the stuff I've made that way have turned out very good .... and some have been so good that I've tried to duplicate the recipe so that I can write itdown!
