Can I Walk . . . ?

Misc.

Dear Page,

I may be from CA, but I've never owned a car (I sometimes think that the state gave me a license to drive provided I don't). Besides, the insurance rates are horrendous, not to mention the parking (I think the closest available space is somewhere in NV).

A walk around an older area of the town to really see the houses and guess at what their first owners were like is my kind of fun! I also love wandering through old hardware stores, feed and grain (wonderful stuff to be had) and through quilt and fabric related events (I love quilts!).

A tall glass of iced ice, an airy porch, good people and lively conversation would be utter heaven, not to mention meeting a group of TKL posting ladies!

Page, whether you know it or not, you're quite a woman yourself!

Cheers!
