Cha.............

Misc.

After I posted this, my daughter came into the kitchen and asked when I was
going to make this for our family! Kids! For a long time, she didn't want any
of it.

This is a great dish for teenagers. Every teenager who has ever had it loved
it--or at least all of the ones that I know.

We had a luncheon at school on Friday and I served: pizza casserole, homemade
bread, valentine cookies, and Cokes. My aide made two desserts--4-layer
chocolate pie and 4 layer coconut pie. We also had: chocolate dipped pretzels
and chocolate valentine candy.

When I have this at home I usually serve it with salad, homemade bread, a
chocolate dessert, and sweet tea (or Coke).

Here is a menu suggestion for you. How about serving raw veggies with dip--
teenagers usually LOVE ranch or honey mustard--, homemade bread, a great
dessert, and something that they like to drink.

Another suggestion is to leave out the mushrooms. EVERY teenager that I have
ever served this too removes the mushrooms!

I used to make sourdough bread--from starter--and all of the kids, except my
own, loved that bread, too. Now, I use the breadmaker to make the bread.

REMEMBER to add the 1 jar of pizza sauce to this recipe. It's what makes the
casserole taste like pizza.

If you need a great dessert recipe or the recipe for sourdough bread, just let
me know.

Good luck with your party!
