Recipe: Cha............

Misc.

I am so glad that your family liked the pizza casserole! Like I wrote, EVERY
teenager that I've ever served it to has loved it--even my own daughter!

I use a bread machine now to make bread. I also have made sourdough bread. In
fact, one of my daughter's teachers has supplied me with so many sourdough
"babies" that I could open a bakery. It seems that I was ALWAYS making
sourdough bread or couldn't remember to feed it so the "baby" would die.
There's a really easy recipe in one of my cookbooks that I'll post for you as
soon as I find it.

About your bread machine bread, Cha. Do you add lukewarm water first--then add
oil, then the dry ingredients, except for the yeast? We have a Franklin Chef
Breadmaker and it's been a really good one. I'll post the recipe for the bread
that I make in my breadmaker.

White Breadmaker Bread

1 cup plus 2 Tablespoons warm water
2 Tablespoons oil
3 cups bread flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon sugar
4 tablespoons nonfat dry milk
2 teaspoons yeast

Add the ingredients in the order that they are listed. Set bread machine on
the basic bread making setting. I always select normal or medium baking cycle
and it takes 3 hours. You should have perfect bread--no air holes, no hard
crust.

I hope that this will help and I'll find the sourdough bread recipe for you.

Enjoy!
