Cindy: That is not correct. I am sure you have seen Vodka in the freezer for a perfect martini or screwdriver.

I am sure that what she meant is that red wine is supposed to be drink at room temperature, which in Europe probably means 70 F or a little less.

I drink my beloved Albari o (white, dry & fruity wine) from the refrigerator. Even when serving red wine I put it about 15 minutes into the refrigerator before serving, so that it will be approximately 70F, because here in Puerto Rico the temperature is usually in the 90th.
