Recipe: Oven Brisket (using coke and Heinz 57) (from the Home Show, ABC)

1 brisket (any size)
1 package Lipton onion recipe mix
1 (16-ounce) can Coke (not diet)
1 (10-ounce) bottle Heinz 57 Sauce
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
Place the brisket, fat side up, in a roasting pan.
In a bowl, combine the onion mix, Coke and Heinz 57 sauce. Pour over the brisket.
Cover and cook for 4 to 6 hours, or until tender.
Remove brisket from pan and pour off the drippings. Chill both, separately, overnight.
The next day, trim all the fat from the meat, slice and reheat.
Skim the fat off the drippings and reheat. Serve sauce over the meat.
