Claudette, how nice you have your own citrus. Our yard is so shady with oaks
Misc. we would have a hard time finding a spot for one. However, a neighbor gives us a lot of wonderful oranges and there is an orange tree just inside the greenbelt next to our house that has tasty juice oranges. Some of the other trees in the woods have sour oranges. I don't know why they are different. My plants survived quite nicely, it was worth the time and effort to cover them.
