czech plum dumplings
Misc.ADVERTISEMENT
Hello... I was browsing/looking for a kartoffelklosse recipe and stumbled along your website here...
I think I may be of some help, Czechs have a plum dumpling called
"knedliky svestkove". Knedliky is a standard czech dumpling and svestkove
means plum. Maybe this will help your search. I have relatives in the
Czech Republic that have made these for me with plums right off of their own
tree that were like candy. I can try to contact them and get the recipe.
Good luck. Elinka
P.S. I should also mention that they are traditionally served with melted
butter over them and a sprinkling of confectioner's sugar- YUM!!!
