This recipe is one I use,called Texas Delight or 4 layer dessert, except chocolate pudding mix is used. I have also made it using pistachio pudding mix.

The chocolate version is one of my favorite desserts and like you I cannot stand the plain pudding.

I think I will try the butterscotch version the next time we have a family get together, will let you know.
