Ernestine..could this be the cheesecake?
Misc.Hello Ernestine,
I've found a recipe for Hazelnut Cheesecake in Craig Claiborne's 'New' New York Times Cookbook (1979). An 8" cake pan with 3" sides is used (not a springform pan and it's set in a pan of boiling water in the oven to bake. When done and cooled for 2 hours, the you turn the cheescake upside down onto a plate to unmold. The 'crust' is just a sprinkling of graham cracker crumbs. Does this sound like the one?
