Fall Harvest, obvious but ??

Misc.

When I saw the word October, I immediately thought of fall harvest. I have been reading the canning board lately and this led me to think of preserved foods (home preserved). Even folks who don't put food up could find a farmer's market or gift shop that sells locally canned foods. Of course, this would be a pantry shower. Or, things made of natural materials (100% cotton towels, loufa sponges, wooden products, etc.) with fall decorations.

My husband's cousins did a birthday party for his aunt using canned goods and plants for decorations, a patchwork tablecloth, hollowed out vegetables and fruits to hold a lot of the food, scarecrows, rag dolls, etc. They actually used food that she had canned for them over the past season. It was beautiful and very interesting.
