Thanks so much for the thick stew receipe; but thanks especially for the careful instructions and cooking advice. I need all the help I can get.

My last effort at playing chef was not as bad as it might have been. Although the girl I was trying to impress would not eat the "dinner", with a little coaxing, the dog was willing to eat the stuff.
