G'day Eggy.
I always say, "Victorian by birth, Sth. Aust. by choice"
A chap I knew of, who came home from WW2, weighing only 56lbs (not K's) was given the following tip to help gain weight, and I believe it worked.
Drink whipped milk, 3 times a day.
He had to pour the milk from glass to glass, for 5 minutes, to get the airbubbles into it.
These days a vitamiser or foodprocesor would do the job better.
