Gina, I totally agree with you..........

With the way things have been lately, it is only doing normal ordinary things that make me feel secure. The only conflict I have really known was the Persian Gulf Conflict, and I wasn't yet grown when it occurred but I do remember it. I do remember how scared I was knowing that our country was at war. I always felt so safe knowing that the battles were far away. This is not the case in this war, as President Bush has already alluded to we already have casualities on our own land and the fighting hasn't really began yet. I support our governnment and our military in ridding the world of these people, but I dread the eventual combat and loss of life. I hope we can resolve this matter with few more lives lost, although any lives being lost are too many. As a history teacher, I have to discuss this with my students and it is hard to reassure them when I am scared myself. I can only pray for our country and the leaders and hope that things can be resolved soon.
