Apart from calories burned, breast feeding encourages the uterus to contract, which helps you tummy to regain it's previous form.

Good luck with the diet, i tried W.W and was doing really well, then had a bit of a disaster after my trip to Belguim. Gotta get back on it again for the summer :)
