Hi Kat,

You are fine. Yes you can use Pam and then flour and shake out the excess. On one of my bundt pans it recommends using solid shortening to maintain the nonstick finish. That would be something like Crisco. And again the flour. I've also had great success with a product from Wilton called Cake Release - it has the shortening and flour combined and you just use it all over the pan.
