Hi Joel!

Misc.

That is one heck of a menu you had, each item more mouthwatering than the next! I made your cream cheese spread last nite to munch while I was grilling, but you know me and improvising (guess that should be my middle name - lol)! I didnt have more than a smidge of oil packed tomatoes, so I chopped up and threw in some marinaded artichoke hearts - let me tell u!! WOW! Really gave it a great oomph! I didnt have any puff pastry on hand to make twists so I used bagel chips instead.. not as festive but yummy anyway! Thanks for sharing that recipe with us!

Thats so funny about your parents.. I've driven thru the city many times and dont envy them getting so lost right before Christmas no less! Poor things :(

I havent been posting much this past month as I have been so tied up with school activities. I gave up the corporate world when I had my daughter 7 yrs ago to be a stay home mom and now I am very active in her school doing volunteer work. I love it and find the mental rewards (not to mention stealing more time with her) more satisfying than the monetary rewards ever were. Course we wont mention those days when I wish Pez dispensers came filled with valium.. LOL! Now that the holidays are over, I'm looking forward to getting back to more house-related activities, and naturally COOKING!!

May the New Year bring nothing but health and happiness to your family!

Take care :)
Julie
