Misc.

I finally found the dried fruit, so now I can make the cookies. Since no one in the family has ever found a cookie they couldn't eat I have no doubt they'll be a success.

Were you in Denver during the cold weather? I'm in Colorado, but on the other side of the mountains, about 4 hrs away. It's been a long time since we had weather that cold.

When I read about your dinners, it makes me miss living in a big city. I wouldn't want to move back, but shopping-wise, there are times it is really difficult. When I was growing up, I used to go to New York all the time with my parents, Dad had to be there on business. Did all my school clothes shopping there, and grew up on Broadway plays. After I was first married, we lived in Phila, and I would go into center city and the Italian Market all the time. Now, its not so much that I live in a small town, but the towns in Co are so far apart.

Up until a few months ago, my husband traveled quite a bit, and he would always come home with something - like 4 dozen bagels from NY and a lot of cheese from Balduccis!

Anyway - please post the recipes, or get my e-mail from Betsy
