Homemade ice cream recipes

Misc.
The best recipes I have come from two books: The Ultimate ice Cream Book by Bruce Weinstein (divine Cheesecake Ice Cream) and Frozen Desserts by Caroline Liddell and Robin Weir. The Chocolate and Vanilla bases in the last book are so rich that you can do any variations on these two recipes that you want. These are based on cooked custards, which are a little time consuming to make, but well worth the effort. I am not a fan of the no-cook recipes that use raw eggs. I especially like my Cuisinart IC maker, because I can make totally sugar free ice cream and it is delicious! Happy Ice Cream Making!
