Recipe: REC: Honey Baked Ham (using a blow torch)

Main Dishes - Pork, Ham

Here's the recipe that was posted recently @ TSR:

1 fully cooked shank ham ( bone-in, any size)
1c. sugar
1/4tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4tsp. ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp. ground clove
1/8 tsp paprika
dash ground ginger
dash ground allspice
(I'm going to parpaphrase the lengthy instructions)
partially slice ham quite thin
Mix remaining ingred. and spread on wax paper. Roll ham in ingred. then
use blow torch with med. flame to caramelize sugar. Wave torch over
sugar w/rapid movement so that sugar bubbles and browns but doesn't
burn. Repeat several times until ham is well-glazed. Serve ham warm or
re-heated

This one sounds a lot closer than any others I've seen posted.
