Gladys (a world-famous champion poster from around these parts) said she was going to try it with mango. Mind you, she had a tree full of ripe mangoes at the time, in her back yard; I am sure that influenced her choice. And around these parts (Canada, that is), you would be hard pressed to find a mango tree. I think my DH has one in the sun room, but it has never had fruit.

Anyway, you reminded me about that recipe when you asked for it. I am going to make it for dinner tomorrow night, and for us the mandarins are fine, and always seem to have 1 or 2 in the cupboard handy, but each to her own.
