It was delicious Carolyn, Hope You Try It!!

Misc.
Hello Carolyn!

We really enjoyed it...my Mom loves it more than her own recipe! She was very surprised indeed.

She was watching me as I prepared it and every once in a while I would catch her looking at me very skeptically but not saying a word. This from a seasoned cook...and then...

when she put the took her first taste, she went over the moon!!! My husband declared it to be one of my most tastiest dishes ever!!

I don't know if it could be made in the crockpot becausae the crock takes 8 hours. I cooked it only for 20 minutes, the same amount as the rice.

I certainly will throw away my old Picadillo recipe and keep this one.

Best Wishes, Gina
