Misc.I am sorry, but if you can your own recipes you could get potential botulism. You need to freeze your recipe or use one from a reliable source and can that recipe. Unless a recipe has been tested in a lab for safety, you put yourself at a risk for food borne illnesses.
Here we have the Ball Blue Book and So Easy to Preserve that are safe books to use. I would not know what you have there.
You can look up the National Center For Home Food Preservation and use that site. It is where the So Easy to Preserve book comes from.
