Hey - good luck! The Book of Tarts is really very good - he gets a little fussy sometimes but it must be worth it because everything I've made from that book has been fantastic. His regular old tart dough is exceptionally tasty.

I have one of those little blow torches - got it at Williams & Sonoma - and they work pretty well. Much easier than a full size hardware model that I was considering. :) Can you imagine?!? ha!

Keep us posted if you make that tart - I've been intrigued for a while but haven't had the time.
