Hi! It seems to me by reading the recipe that the 2 cups of breadcrumbs means soft, fresh breadcrumbs.
Those packaged dry crumbs just act like a sponge, leaving a dry meatloaf. Try it & please post if this works. Sounds yummy, I may try it soon too!
