Linda, I did almost the same thing, except I added rotelle mild, cooked mine a couple hours on top the stove (cause i was home) and don't use crockpot!!, and added a little texas chili powder thickened it with flour too, and made burritos (chimichangas) fried after filling the flour tortilla with melted cheese..yum.
