Hi Linda!I hope this prints out right,my P.C.is giving me trouble w/the numbers on the keyboard.
Yes,this is a really good casserole.I bake it in a 13by9by2 inch pan & yes I do make it ahead,what I do is bake it & everyone heats up their serving in the microwave.The chips stay crunchy for a day or 2 after baking, maybe longer I dont know as it gets devoured pretty quick around here,HA!The chips do turn to mush if you dont bake after assembling this.On the side I have shredded lettuce & chopped tomatoes,maybe extra onions chopped up for onion lovers, some sour cream & for those who want more heat I have picante sauce & jalapenos.Oh & I also bake the carrot cake in a 13by 9by 2inch pan.Enjoy!Mickey
