I bought asparagus yesterday and your recipe looks good. In fact, it reminds me of a recipe I made several years ago for a luncheon called Asparagus Sandwich puffs. It consisted of toasted buttered bread topped with sliced tomatoes, cheese and cooked asparagus, then cloaked in a mix similar to your asparagus topping and baked. It is from an old Betty Crocker cook book called Dinner in a Dish.

We went about the same distances Tuesday, except you probably had better roads. We spent a lot of time on two-lane highways, but the orange groves, oaks and scenery were nice.

Do you have good access to the fresh produce grown in the Imperial valley ( I think that is what it is called)?

No problem about the name, I sometimes wish I could edit a post after I see it, especially when I type in a hurry. Typing is not one of my best skills. So...what's for dinner in your house tonight?
