Nan, What Wonderful Memories You Have...

Hello nan,

As I read your posting of your wonderful treasured memories, they transported me back to that long ago time...what times they must have been, full of adventures and carefree days indeed!! Wish I had been there with you to enjoy them too!!

Funny you should mention the coconut cream pie and banana pei as I posted up above a recipe for Coconut Cream Pie from Miss May in the Galbraith Creek Chicken Pie posting. In that recipe you can use the base for chocolateby adding cocoa and also use the same basae for the banana cream pie you mention with slices of banana. Her recipe is an old one from her Momma in the mountains. You, my dear, have terific taste in desserts!! They are sooooo good, those pies!!
