Hi Gina

Misc.
your trip around and up and down the mountain brings back memories to me...In the old days when I was a little girl (I grew up in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mts.) we would go to the Mountains in the summer time after church and take a picnic basket...we would stop at a nice picnic area beside a water fall and play in the cool mountain stream and have our picnic...Was wonderful carefree days of summmer and childhood...We also would have to stop at the foot of the mountain before starting up and fill up the radiator with water to keep the car from running hot...It was really hard on the brakes and the car really moaned and groaned going up hill...We would coast down the hills and some of them as you know were mighty steep and full of curves...

Your Miss Betty Brown sounds like a fine Mt. woman and one who would be a joy to meet and have a long afternoon chat with....Her pie sounds delicious and I am thinking that recipe could be used not only with chocolate but with one of my favorites Coconut and put coconut in the pudding mix....And wouldn't that be good with Banana Cream pudding mix and slice bananas over the crust and on the top...The ideas can really go on and on....

I cannot wait to hear the rest of the stories..
come tell us more..
Nan
