re: Australian Apricot Pineapple Cake

I am from Australia and have not heard of this type of cake. Unless you mean a fruit cake (using mixed dried fruit) and also containing apricots and pineapple.
Can you give a little more information about what the cake is like.
One thought I had is that it could be a carrot cake, containing pinapple, with chopped dried apricots on the cream cheese icing.
