I know you said you don't like microwave baked potatoes, but have you tried them this way?

My favorite and quickest way to fix them is in the microwave. I poke a few holes in them so they don't explode in the oven, put them in a baggie that is LOOSLEY closed, not sealed shut, and bake one for about 4-7 minutes depending on the size. Keep checking for doneness with a fork in the middle of potato.
Double or almost triple time for 2 or more potatoes.

I like the skins and they are nice and moist to eat.
