Re: Cafe du Monde Beignets

Actually the CDM Beignet Mix is available outside of New Orleans. It's sold in most Texas, Louisiana, and Arkanas grocery stores next to the Pancake mixes and I believe that Cafe Du Monde sells the mix and their coffee (a blend of coffee and chickory) by mail order; unfortunately they do not have a presence on the web. :(

I have also noticed that Pioneer brand sopapilla mix includes a recipe for Beignets if that's available in your area.
